When Dean and I visited the behemoth Takashimaya department store in Singapore, as wide-eyed tourists we were an easy target for Ruben, the young Nespresso Club trainee. He showed us their coffee machines and taught us how to make the perfect cup of coffee in the manner, he explained, in which every Asian aspired to achieve….perfection in presentation. Evidence of this attitude was everywhere at the grand Pan Pacific Hotel. Beauty was in the details and to this designer, it was soothing and inspiring. Our suite also included a Nespresso machine, which really did make a pretty perfect cup of coffee.
Evan and I finally caught ourselves up and read your Singapore blog. What a great resource! We will put some of your tips on our bucket list when we are there! Thanks!!!
Melbourne had FABULOUS coffee which I miss. I used a Nepresso EN520 there a few times. Been thinking about getting one since we got home. Got outbid on EBay, will keep looking.
I’m love’n this blog. Thanks.
Jim
Great! More to come. Write me! Love you.
I love the pictures!!!
Our Keurig pales in quality, but not price! Guess you really get what you pay for.
I first used a Nesspresso at the 21C in Bentonville, Arkansas of all places. Really impressive machine. Might have to trade in my Tassimo. Great pics, Kristy!
Which machine do you have?
I’ve got one! Use it every night.
