We are off again. Check out my Journeys page to find our latest itinerary as we will be cruising back-to-back segments from Rome to Dubai and Dubai to Cape Town for two months, from October 21, 2016 to December 21, 2016. These are mostly places we have never visited and, if we don’t go now, some of these destinations may soon be off limits and are already going fast. Istanbul and Cairo were originally on this trip itinerary and just since we booked the cruise, they have been eliminated because of political instability. Yet, we will see other parts of Egypt, Israel, Oman, and the east coast of Africa, places on the volatile side of international news. And, long on my bucket list, we will visit India’s west coast, and cruise the remote islands of the Seychelles and Maldives.

As we are traveling, we will experience the outcome of our crazy American presidential election as seen by the rest of the world. We’ll watch (hopefully) World Series baseball from somewhere in the Mediterranean, and celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday in the Arabian Sea.

And from Dubai to Cape Town, we will be joined with friends from home and reunited with some dear fellow travelers from a past cruise. And, hopefully, you will join us too, for all of this great, wonderful adventure!
